To me, being a good UX researcher requires me to constantly learn from diverse types of people; reflect on the research process; and extend my knowledge into different domains and product spaces.
Aside from learning at work, I expand my research capabilities by reading, synthesizing, and sharing my insights on Medium.
Anything UX-related is never done alone, and I believe insights become exponential when they are shared.
To me, helping others is a big part of the larger effort to make our community stronger. I contribute by sharing my challenges and takeaways along my journey to help aspiring UXers.
At the end of the day, it all comes down to the simple love I have for research that keeps me going.
Having a genuine intrinsic motivation at work is what turns "stress" into "productivity", "mistakes" into "learning opportunities", and "successes" into "meaningful moments in life".
